Contact Improvisation in Spokane in 2019!
January 26th
February 16th
March 2nd
March 30th
April 27th
May 18th
Saturday January 26th 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM marks the kick off of contact improvisation classes here in Spokane! To stay up to date on what's happening with these classes, join the Facebook group "Contact Improvisation Spokane".

Please find more details about the upcoming class below.
Where will classes be? Spokane Woman's Club in the Club Room, the entrance is the green door off of south Walnut Street. There is plenty of free parking and easy access to I-90 and downtown.
What to expect from class? Classes will be 2 hours long, starting at 11 am and going till 1 pm. Each class will start with an individual warm up and progress to dancing with others. We will be exploring fun and interesting exercises and tasks to dive into the different facets of contact improvisation. Safety is one of my top priorities and the class can be adapted for different skill levels.
If you have any advanced dance or physical theater students interested and they are 16 years old or older, let me know and we can work out accommodations.
What do I wear to class? In contact improvisation, there is a lot of rolling and sliding on the floor. I recommend wearing pants and layers on top, one of those layers being a t-shirt or long sleeve shirt, and bare feet. Knee pads are a good idea, I recommend these knee pads for contact improvisation as they aren't bulky.

Classes are $5 to $10 on a sliding scale.
